DELIGHTFUL SENNEN COVE
Sennen Cove, in the far west of Cornwall, is a true delight with its wide open blue skies, white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and rolling surf.
As you drive down the hill into the cove, with the village sat far below you, you know you are visiting somewhere very special, and being just far enough ‘down the road’ modern life has so far passed it by and it is one of those few remaining Cornish coastal locations that retains its natural charm and character.
Whether you are visiting for the first time, or you discovered this dream location years ago, whether you are down for bracing cliff walks, the thrill of surfing, to sit with a pasty on the beach or a pint in the pub watching the sun go down it is no exaggeration that Sennen Cove will never fail to delight you.
WELCOME TO THE LITTLE BEACH HOUSE
Overlooking the lovely old harbour wall and sheltered sandy beach that lies beside it The Little Beach House is a characterful cosy cottage with stunning sea views and is perfect whether you are seeking a summer holiday, midweek break or a weekend away to simply wind down.
The Location
The location could not be any more perfect, the house is right in the heart of the Cove, directly opposite is the harbour beach, always delightfully quiet, whilst just the other side is the main beach that offers a mile or more of pristine white sand stretching all the way to Gwenvor. Sennen also has a gallery, surf shop, surf schools, a chippy, cafe and restaurants and not forgetting the Old Success Inn for a relaxing pint (or two).
The House
Originally built as a fishing cottage in 1906 this wooden clad cottage is full of charm and character and has an amazingly relaxing feel. In the many years we have owned the house we have extensively renovated and restored it uncovering and reclaiming original features long covered such as the wooden floors and wall panelling, The result is a house that is airy, light and utterly soul refreshing.
The Accommodation
The Little Beach House sleeps four, there is a large double room with a king size bed and a smaller room that features single size bunk beds. The main living room is light and airy, ceiling to floor windows across the front give incredible views of the surf rolling over the Cowloe reef, and to the side is a kitchen leading off to a small porch. The bathroom features a large walk in electric shower. The house has high speed fibre broadband and for heating the house has night storage heaters and a log burner… which to light and sit beside on a winters afternoon whilst staring out at a storm smashing against the harbour wall is truly just a slice of heaven.
About Us
We are Tamsin and Gavin, a local family, and we work hard to ensure that our guests have the very best experience when they stay at The Little Beach House, testimony to this are the families who return year after year for well over a decade now.
We undertake all aspects of the house ourselves, from bookings to cleaning, and we treat our guests the way that we would wish to be treated ourselves.

How Do I Book A Holiday At The Little Beach House?
Guests are welcome to contact us direct for bookings, or if anyone prefers we also use AirBnB and our listing is https://airbnb.com/h/sennencove but please remember that booking with us will save you the fees that AirBnB charge
guests.
Are You Open All Year?
The Little Beach House is available for holidays and short breaks all year round. Our minimum stay is two nights and during the main holiday seasons we do 7 night Saturday to Saturday holidays. We can also get the house ready at very short notice if anyone fancies a quick trip down.
What Do You Provide Abd What Do I Need To Bring?
All bedding and towels are provided, you will need to bring beach towels though. We also supply some tea and coffee, milk in the fridge, so you can come straight in, put your feet up, and enjoy the view.
Is There Parking At The Little Beach House?
There is no dedicated parking for The Little Beach House but the harbour carpark is roughly 100m away and offers an allday/night rate.
Do You Have WiFi?
The Little Beach House has super fast fibre broadband, so that should keep the kids happy, and for those not addicted to a small screen we also have stunning sea views and a beach on the doorstep.
How Do I Pay, And What If I Need To Cancel?
Our general terms are a small deposit at time of booking and then the balance becomes payable 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. We do offer cancelation terms and these are detailed in the terms & conditions of the booking form you will receive.
Are Pets Allowed?
Unfortunately we do not allow pets, dogs especially, in The Little Beach House, not even to visit. The house simply is not suitable and Sennen itself has a summer long dog ban on the beaches. Sorry, even our hounds do not get their noses through the door!
What Are The Arrival And Departure Times?
Holidays commence at 3PM on the day of arrival and guests will need to depart by 10AM latest on the day of departure.
